Dawn Trout
President
Dawn M. Trout, EA, MSA, is President of Trout Tax Advisory Services and has been a co-equity partner at Gallagher and Rhodes PA in Cape Coral since 2019. She joined Gallagher and Rhodes in 2001 as an enrolled agent, and over more than two decades has overseen office management, staff training and client billing alongside her tax work.
Dawn formed the firm’s strategic partnership with a Canadian accounting firm, which allows the practice to handle United States tax returns for Canadian clients and has greatly strengthened its cross-border tax services.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Hodges University in Fort Myers and a Master of Science in accounting from the University of Phoenix, and holds an enrolled agent license from the Internal Revenue Service. She serves as treasurer of the Biz Net Cares Foundation, and outside the office enjoys time with her husband and daughter, and traveling.
